On Friday the 10th of March Georgia, Grace and Amelia were fortunate enough to trial for the Diocese of Wollongong Netball team. There were no girls we knew there except for the St.Clare’s girls, they were really nice and encouraging. The girls played against fifty-eight other girls, in three different games. After the games the selectors cut the girls down to twenty-four (possibles and probables). The three girls were included in the twenty-four chosen which is a great achievement. After this the girls played three extra games in the possibles and probables. Grace Played GK (Goal keeper) and GD (goal defence). Amelia played GS (goal shooter), and Georgia played GA (goal attack). The girls were then called over to find out the team, ten girls including Grace and Georgia made the team but unfortunately Amelia did not make the team but played extremely well. Now on the fifth of May Grace and Georgia will go to Canberra to trial for the Mackillop team.
We are extremely proud of each other’s achievement and efforts, this is a great achievement to even make it to the possible and probables!
Well done! 😃😃By Grace & Georgia.
